**Top quality dog treats**
I’ve noticed an improvement in my dog’s breath since using these. I’ll admit I’m not the best at regularly brushing my dog’s teeth. It’s always such a chore because he fidgets so much when I try to do it. Although I know nothing can replace actual brushing, I do try to utilize every tool available to make it easier to maintain his oral health. These dog treats have been essential. They have nano hydroxy apatite, which apparently help remineralize teeth. They have little grooves that help get between the valleys in my dog’s teeth. They are a bit hard but seem to break easily when my dog chews them. They are a bit pricey but seem to be worth it for me. This brand makes great quality dog products and I’m happy to recommend them. The treats themselves are about 2.5” inches long by probably 3/4” wide and a bit over a half inch thick. They are great for small sized dogs like Jack Russel terriers.

**Quality**
This is one of those brands that you can see and feel how much goes into them. My gsd LOVES these treats, and her mouth looks healthier after eating them, though they don’t last long with her big teeth, as they do crumble under them in about 5 seconds (the bone size is Small and she’s a Large, 80lb shepherd though, so I’m obviously not taking off a star). I think these would be perfect for dogs under 50lbs.

**Pricey but worth it**
These dental chews support my pup’s oral hygiene. I’ve been using Arterra products for a few years now and I feel confident in saying they have helped keep my dog’s teeth clean. The dentist says he has very little plaque build up. The main issues are just loosening, which is caused by all the tug o war we play haha. These dental chews are great for keeping my dog's teeth shiny and plaque free. They are about 2.5” long and are a bit hard though easily chewable. My dog seems to thoroughly enjoy these as well. Fortunately, they do not cause any stomach or GI issues. These are a bit pricey, but I’d rather spend the money to prevent dental issues down the line. The price point is likely due to the nano hydroxyapatite - this helps remineralize teeth. Overall I’m happy with these and would recommend.

**Healthy ingredients for clean canine teeth**
I ordered the Arterra Pet Science Dog Dental Chews with Nano-Hydroxyapatite Next-Generation Daily Chews for Stronger Teeth, Fresh Breath, and Healthy Gut, for Small Breeds, 14 Count, Pack of 1 for my 4-year-old golden retriever mix. Although she’s medium-sized rather than a small breed, I like giving her smaller chews as she tends to chomp through any chew, no matter what the size, quite quickly. I brush her teeth every day, but I still like to give her dental chews to help keep her teeth strong and clean. I like the healthy ingredients of these chews, which include brewer's yeast, banana powder, sunflower seed lecithin, sunflower oil, chicory root, organic kelp, parsley flakes, cranberry extract, green tea extract, and turmeric. I also like that these chews are made in the U.S. They seem to be a good density in that they're not too hard (they bend a little) and not too soft for some chewing action. I like that these chews are good both for her teeth and her digestion, although she rarely has any sort of digestive problems. The Arterra Pet Science Dog Dental Chews are somewhat expensive but the high quality of the ingredients seems worth it.

**Expensive, but high quality**
These dental treats seem to be excellent quality. I use them in place of or in addition to dental gel to keep my dog’s teeth in good shape. At 10 years old he’s never had a dental or needed one and I try to keep it that way. These chews were a big hit flavor wise, and are great for freshening breath. The kelp is a great addition for keeping fresh plaque from sticking. High quality ingredients. The resealable bag helps keep them fresh as well. The biggest drawback on these is price. They have a pretty steep price tag for a 30 day supply. This makes it fairly inaccessible as a regular use product for those with lower income or multiple dogs. I rated these 4 out of 5 because I acknowledge the quality, but the price is steep.
